Here I am sending you some of my photos, which I took with the GM4000 (through my Skywatcher Maksutov-Newton 190/1000 mm telescope) and my small astronomical camera, the Meade DSI Pro III, using the LRGB method. The special thing: the images were taken without any guiding at all, i.e. the tracking of the GM4000 is sufficient to take these images (individual exposure time of each photo was 3 minutes). We have not even done the PEC yet. We will only do that when we can create multiple profiles with the new software. The total exposure time for M13 was 25 minutes, for M101 it was 70 minutes, and for M81 the total exposure time was 130 minutes. Finally, there is also an image of the Dragon Triplet (NGC 5981, 5982, 5985) with a total exposure time of 150 minutes. On the left is a photo of our observatory and the instrument from a bird’s-eye view.
Kind regards from Feuerstein,
