The dome has served me very well and still functions flawlessly to this day. However, the glossy surface of the round dome seems to suffer from weathering. This shows itself in the surface becoming dull. The function, however, is not impaired by this.
The picture that I would nevertheless like to make available to you was taken in 2012 by Mr. Peter Weißbach, a fellow astronomy enthusiast. In the foreground stands the dome with my C11. The building in the background with roll-off roof I called Solarium, because all the special instruments for solar observation are housed there: the Sun in projection with my Zeiss 68/840, mounted parallel to it a small Lunt solar scope, small but excellent. For example, full-disc H-alpha observation. From the middle of the building protrudes my Zeiss AS 100/1000, operated either with a Baader Herschel wedge or a Solar Spectrum filter.
